Mrs. Sherry Darlene Small Johnson, 56, of Lancaster, wife of Russell “Bret” Johnson, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at her home. She was born July 16, 1962 in Lancaster, a daughter of Johnny Marion Small and the late Kathleen Elizabeth Knight Small.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Johnson will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Lynwood United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sh-Kur Francis and the Rev. Larry Plyler officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband Bret Johnson; a son, Bret Johnson, II of Lancaster; a daughter, Erica Merritt and her fiancé Jeremy Baker of Lancaster; two sisters, Nanette Yontz and her husband Mike of Bellevue, Ohio and Stacey Small of Lancaster; and four grandchildren, Caylin Merritt, Hailey Johnson, Dallas Johnson and Riley Johnson.The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at Lynwood United Methodist Church.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Johnson.Read Obituary
