Paul Mitchell Alford

Mr. Paul Mitchell Alford, 60, of Great Falls passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at his home. He was born January 24, 1959 in Lancaster, a son of the late Paul Lester Alford and Lena Mae Smith Alford. Mr. Alford was very family and community oriented. He served as a Royal Ranger Commander and FCF member at First Pentecostal Holiness Church for many years. Currently, he was a member of Canaan Free Will Baptist Church where he taught children’s church. Mr. Alford loved spending time with his family. His favorite hobbies were blacksmithing and hunting.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Alford will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Canaan Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Gulledge officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Alford is survived by his wife, Shanna Fowler Alford of Great Falls; four sons, Michael Alford and his wife Kayla and Jonathan Fowler and his wife Amanda all of Lancaster and Justin Horton and Jarod Horton both of Great Falls; a daughter, Sheryn Adams and her husband Kevin of Kershaw; two brothers, Thomas D. Alford and his wife Sheila of Heath Springs and Terry Alford of Wilson, NC; a sister, Rosemary Taylor of Lancaster; and four grandchildren, Addilyn Adams, Ansleigh Adams, Jordan Fowler and Ariel Fowler. He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Sherry B. Alford.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 128 S.
