Kathy Stacks Benton

Mrs. Kathy Ann Stacks Benton, 64, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, Jul 14, 2019 at Atrium Health - Pineville. She was born December 10, 1954 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Raymond Stacks and Dorothy Willene Ellis Stacks. She was a member of West Side Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, caretaker and friend. She enjoyed collecting angels, making flower arrangements, cooking, and sewing. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Benton will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the graveside at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Gandy officiating. Mrs. Benton is survived by her husband, Ronald D. Benton; a daughter, Tonya Ann Hinson of Lancaster; a brother, Richard Dennis Stacks (Debbie) of Lancaster; two sisters, Carolyn Watts and Elaine Mills (Randy) all of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Jonathan Hinson and Kayla Hinson; and her fur baby, Monkey. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Stacks; and a sister, Betty Lou Grant. The family will receive friends following the service.
