Jimmy Dale Self

Mr. Jimmy Dale Self, 60, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his home. He was born November 11, 1958 in Lancaster, a son of the late Robert Franklin Self and Loraine Bowers Self. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Mr. Self loved watching TV and spending time with his family.Mr. Self is survived by his wife, Joan R. Self of Lancaster; two sons, Michael Paul Self of Myrtle Beach and Jimmy Lee Self and his wife Maleaha of Rock Hill; a daughter, Tracy Baker and her partner Sue of Rock Hill; a brother, William Franklin Self of Great Falls; a sister, Peggy Elaine Woolwine of Cornelius, NC; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Kenneth Self and Gary Eugene Self.The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
