Ila Mae Polston Broughton

Mrs. Ila Mae Polston Broughton, 74, of Lancaster, widow of Marion Raymond Broughton, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at her home. She was born October 17, 1944 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late John Polston and Eva Watts Polston. Mrs. Broughton was a member of Jones Crossroads Baptist Church and had retired from Springs Industries.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Broughton will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Hammond officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Broughton is survived by two sons, James E. Estes and Raymond L. Estes both of Lancaster; two daughters, Diane Foster and her husband Chris and Louise Pressley and her husband Larry all of Lancaster; a sister, Pearline Moseley and her husband Bennie of Lancaster; five grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at her home.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Broughton.Read Obituary
