Harold William Faulkenberry

Mr. Harold William Faulkenberry, 79, of Kershaw, widower of Ruby Brazell Faulkenberry, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born December 20, 1939 in Lancaster, a son of the late Thomas N. Faulkenberry and Annie Baker Faulkenberry. Mr. Faulkenberry was a dedicated member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. He had retired from Heath Springs Telephone and Power Company and Comporium. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Faulkenberry will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Oakhurst Baptist Church with the Rev. John Rogers and Rev. Charles Cauthen officiating. Burial will be private. Mr. Faulkenberry is survived by a son, Tommy Faulkenberry of Kershaw; a daughter, Elaine F. Gardner and her husband Ronnie of Blythewood; a brother, Wilson Faulkenberry and his wife Doris of Lancaster; a sister, Betty Ruth Rutledge and her husband Oscar Ray of Heath Springs; six grandchildren, Lauren Whitaker and her husband Jonathan, Will Faulkenberry, Corley Faulkenberry, Brady Faulkenberry, Ryleigh Faulkenberry and Hailey Gardner; and three great grandchildren, Blakely, Drew and Deuce. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Faulkenberry was preceded in death by three sisters, Mazie Hendrix, Sarah Rollins and Linda Vincent. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Oakhurst Baptist Church in the fellowship building and other times at the home.
