Esther Priscilla Roberts

Mrs. Esther Priscilla Roberts, 78, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born March 24, 1940 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Dewey Franklin Roberts and Alma Iradelle Adams Roberts. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. She loved her family and her church. Mrs. Roberts was a past member of The Eastern Star, a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class at Camp Creek Baptist Church. The family wishes to express their special thanks to the staff at Lancaster Convalescent Center and Hospice Care of South Carolina.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Roberts will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Mellichamp and Rev. Rod Yow officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Roberts is survived by a daughter, Lee Ann Whitener of Thomson, GA; three grandchildren, Mary Frances Richards, Ayden Whitener and Roland Mullins; three sisters, Myrtice Williams of Myrtle Beach, Vernelle Braun and Nadine Kirk and her husband Dennis all of Heath Springs brothers-in-law, John Adams, Billy Ray Jenkins and Mickey Neal all of Lancaster; sisters-in-law, Louise Stoddard of Kershaw and Lois Roberts of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by three brothers, George W.
