Douglas MacArthur "Mac" Breeden Sr.

Mr. Douglas MacArthur “Mac” Breeden, Sr., 77, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Lexington Medical. He was born March 2, 1942 in Elizabeth City, NC, a son of the late Willie Roy Breeden, Sr. and Cora Henrietta Hill. Mr. Breeden was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War. Mr. Breeden was a Mason and a member of the Jackson Lodge #53.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Breeden will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Birchfield and Rev. Eric Plyler officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Breeden is survived by his wife, Margaret G. Breeden of Lancaster, a son, Douglas M. Breeden, Jr. of Lexington, SC; a daughter, Robin Annette Maness and her husband Steven of Rock Hill; two brothers, Willie Roy Breeden, Jr. and his wife Gloria Gloucester Point, VA and James Hill Breeden and his wife Annette of Louisville, TN; two sisters, Cecelia Babette Alderman of Newberry and Cora Corette” Breeden Parker and her husband Ronald of Durham, NC; and a grandson, Anthony Maness.The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 1809 Bennett Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Breeden.Read Obituary
