Bennie Birchmore Moseley Sr.

Mr. Bennie Birchmore Moseley, Sr., 91, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at his home. He was born March 13, 1929 in Kershaw, a son of the late Amos Moseley and Bernice Livingston Moseley. Mr. Moseley retired from Springs Industries. In his retirement years, he took advantage of his free time and devoted it to one of his passions which was fishing.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Moseley will be held Monday, May 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. from the graveside with the Rev. Sh’Kur Francis officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Moseley is survived by his wife, Perline G. Moseley of Lancaster; a son, Bennie B. Moseley, Jr. and his wife Susan of Rock Hill; two daughters, Becky Barton and Gail Moseley both of Lancaster; a brother, Jackie “Jasper” Moseley of Camden; five grandchildren, Laura Jordan, Bennie B. Moseley, III, Lisa Culton, Bryan Moseley and Carla LeMoine; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Tillmon Moseley, Amos Moseley and Albert Moseley; and two sisters, Bertha Taylor and Annie Lee Snipes.The family will receive friends Monday, May 18, 2020, 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lancaster Memorial Park.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Moseley.Read Obituary
