WILLIE BRUCE ROBINSONLancaster, SC — Willie Bruce Robinson, 78, resident of Lancaster, passed away Saturday morning, November, 16th at the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC.He leaves his wife of 53 years, June Taylor Robinson; his oldest son, Chad Robinson (Angie) of Abbeville, SC; his youngest son, Ron Robinson of Mountain View, CA; his brother, Wilbur Robinson (Tina) of Kershaw, and his sister, Celeste Whitley (Kenny) of Kershaw, and his three grandchildren, Jered, Ian, and Bronwyn Robinson.Born on September 10, 1941, and raised in Kershaw, SC, the son of the late Hazel and Waco Vincent Robinson, he was a lifelong resident of Lancaster.After serving in the US Army as a medic for two years, he worked as a lab technician for Bowaters, in Catawba, SC, all of his entire career and retired after 43 years.A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
