William Earl "Laddie" Hunter

Mr. William Earl “Laddie” Hunter, 84 of Liberty Hill, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Agape Hospice - Columbia. He was born October 27, 1934 in Lancaster, a son of the late John Funderburk and Sara Mobley Funderburk. Mr. Hunter retired from Dupont in 1991 to engage in his favorite activities. He loved living on Lake Wateree. Mr. Hunter enjoyed raising beagles, but also loved catching fish, having fish fry’s and spending time with family and friends.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hunter will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home. Burial will be private.Mr. Hunter is survived by two sons, William Morris Hunter and his wife Dee of Owensboro, KY and Clayton Earl Hunter and his wife Kathy of Elgin, SC; three daughters, Bonnie Hunter Bridgham and her husband Henry of Stafford, VA, Sara Lynn Hunter Culley of Greenville, SC and Cindy Hunter Richardson and her husband Brian of Heath Springs; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a sister, Barbara Carter of Heath Springs.
