William Robert Crenshaw

The lord took away a hero from the Greatest Generation on July 13, 2018. MSG William Robert Crenshaw passed away peacefully at his home with family at the age of 98. He lived a full and happy life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Price Crenshaw. His four brothers Pervas Crenshaw, Travis Crenshaw, Elroy Crenshaw, Troy Crenshaw; and one sister, Evelyn Crenshaw Hunter. He is survived by his three daughters, Kathleen Sue Atwell and her husband Douglas Atwell, Wilda Elaine McBride and her husband William McBride and Jan Crenshaw Shore and her husband James G. Shore; ten grandchildren, Julie Cloutier, Steven Atwell, Brandee LaCava, Kristyn McBride, Jynifer Sims, Robin Wallace, Kelli Dwyer, Michael Shore, Sandy Singletary and Wendy Daniels; 18 great grandchildren, Zachary McAteer, Will McAteer, Johnathan Belcher, Benji Sims, Alexys Dwyer, Ashtyn Dwyer, Grace Wallace, Lilah Wallace, Katie LaCava, Dylan LaCava, Amber Kirland, Ashley Freiling, Abby Conwell, Ace Cloutier, Lena Henderson, Jasmine Daniels, Dylan Daniels and Noah Shore; great-great grandchildren, Ryleigh Kirland, Mikaela Kirland, Dean Freiling and Sara Freiling; a sister, Mazie Crenshaw Bailey; and two brothers, Curtis Crenshaw and Doil Crenshaw. He also leaves behind numerous family members and friends. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Crenshaw will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Oak Ridge A. R. P. Church with the Rev. David Huffman and Rev. Bill Fleming officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Oak Ridge A. R. P. Church Cemetery.
