Mr. Tim Howie Laney, 57, of Lancaster, husband of Belinda Taylor Laney passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home. He was born March 17, 1964 in Pageland, a son of the late Jerry Laney and Janie Faulkenberry Laney Daniels. Mr. Laney enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family, listening to music and being the life of the party. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Laney will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Montgomery and Preacher Cotton Pate officiating. Burial will be private. Mr. Laney is survived by his wife, Belinda T. Laney; four sons, Joseph Laney (Cassie), Justin Laney (fiancé Ashley), all of Jefferson, Jonathan Harkey and Jaxon Laney both of Lancaster; two daughters, Ashley Laney of Jefferson and Mikayla Laney of Lancaster; two brothers, James Laney (Kimberly) and Arnold Laney all of Lancaster; a sister, Debbie Sowell of Lancaster; and eight grandchildren, Chloe, McKenna, Talan, Journey, Alex, Kye, Kade “Toot” and Jace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne Laney, Edward “Tracy” Laney, and Larry Laney. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home.
