Thomas Randell Newell Sr.

Mr. Thomas Randell Newell, Sr., 77, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center. He was born December 27, 1941 in Rock Hill, a son of John Barney Newell and the late Sarah Lanier Outlaw. Mr. Newell was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a coin collector and computer enthusiast. Mr. Newell was a Veteran in the U.S. Marines. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Newell will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 3 p.m. from the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park with Mr. Thomas Newell, Jr. officiating. Mr. Newell is survived by his wife, Irene P. Newell of Lancaster; a son, Thomas Randell Newell, Jr. and his wife Shauna of Jefferson; his father, John Barney Newell of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Sydney Baker and Vince Newell; and a great-grandchild, Eliza Baker. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
