Susan Patricia Knight Hasty

Mrs. Susan Patricia Knight Hasty, 64, of Waxhaw passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at her home. She was born September 1, 1956 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Quillian “Pete” Knight and Edna Joyce Threatt Knight. Mrs. Hasty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved fishing, crafts, genealogy, making wedding cakes and floral arrangements. Mrs. Hasty enjoyed dirt track and drag racing. She loved spending time with family and friends. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hasty will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Twitty officiating. Mrs. Hasty is survived by her husband, William Christopher Hasty of Waxhaw; a son, Quillian Vance Gilmore and his wife Kacey of Spring Lake, NC; three brothers, Bobby Gene Morrow and his wife Frances of Chester, Wayne “Hoss” Knight and his wife Shenell of Lancaster and William “Bill” Knight and his wife Robbie of Heath Springs; a sister, Phyllis Knight Plyler of Lancaster; and two grandchildren, Rileigh Kadence Gilmore and Mackenzie Erin Gilmore.
