Mr. Stuart M. Sachs, 80 of Lancaster passed away Sunday January 2, 2022. He was born September 2, 1941 in Chicago, IL, the son of George & Mildred Sachs. A celebration of life will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at Covenant Baptist Church. Visitation at 4:00 with services at 4:30.Stuart Sachs was preceded by his wife of many years JoAnne Sachs. He is survived by his daughter, Bethel Pate-Walski; two sisters, Marcia Mayes and Sheree L. Sachs; a step son Greg Bowers and wife Angie; a step daughter, Crystal Langley; his grandchildren, James Dallas Pate, Mathew Bowers, Meagan McMurray, Breanna Adams and Jeremy Langley; and his special friend, Caroline Player.Mr. Stuart Sachs grew up in San Antonio, Texas and graduated Edison High School, where he was involved in the Thespians National Club. He attended Trinity University and studied communications. He served in the Coast Guard. He worked at Springs Industries for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed reading, protecting the loggerhead turtles, fishing, gardening, woodworking, a member of the Coffee Cup Campers, and he was a friend of Bill W. Over the years he did an abundance of volunteer work with The Red Cross, Hope of Lancaster and various church groups over the years.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made in his name to Covenant Baptist Church, P.O. To the family of Stuart , I’ve known Stuart over 30 years, we all camped together and enjoyed being friends of Bill W. He will be so missed. I always loved to hear him talk. He had a great radio voice and a sweet sense of humor

Stuart and JoAnne were great friends when they attended Reformation Lutheran church. So sad to learn of his passing. God's Comfort and Peace for you all.
