Stephanie DeAnn Sowell

Miss Stephanie DeAnn Sowell 46, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at MUSC-Lancaster. She was born November 6, 1975 in Charlotte, a daughter of William Steve “Billy” Sowell, III and Teresa Powers Sowell. Miss Sowell was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church. She loved to fish, hunt and sing. Miss Sowell enjoyed going to the lake and watching her son play baseball. She was always known for her contagious smile.A service to celebrate the life of Miss Sowell will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Sherwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Rusty McAlister officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Miss Sowell is survived by a son, William Carson Sowell of Lancaster; her parents, William “Billy” Sowell, III and Teresa Powers Sowell; a sister, Sheri Sowell Sistare and her husband Richard of Lancaster; two nieces, Karlie Elizabeth Hammond and Kelsie Nicole Hammond; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Sherwood Baptist Church.Memorial contributions may be made to Sherwood Baptist Church, 1030 Darlene Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Miss Sowell.Read Obituary
