Mrs. Shirley Sue Blackmon Stewart, 82, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at her home. She was born June 19, 1937 in Monroe, a daughter of the late Nathan Blackmon and Nancy Fair Helms Blackmon. Mrs. Stewart loved and supported her church which was White Springs Baptist Church. She was very active in the youth program and was involved in numerous projects and trips.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Stewart will be held Friday, April 17, 2020 at 2 p.m. at from the graveside at Lakeland Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Hammond officiating. Mrs. Stewart is survived by her husband, Gerald C. Stewart of Lancaster; a son, Jeffrey Lee Moser of Lancaster; a step-son, Jeffrey Alan Stewart and his wife Bobbie Jo of Pawley’s Island; a sister, Marilyn Rushing of Indian Trail, NC; a grandson, Cory Tristen Moser; and a great-grandson, Cael Moser. She was preceded in death by two sons, Clifford Moser, Jr. and Thomas Rufus Moser. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2020 at White Springs Baptist Church Family Life Center.Memorial contributions may be made to White Springs Baptist Church, 1249 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Stewart.Read Obituary
