Sherry Denice Hunter Sowell

Mrs. Sherry Denice Hunter Sowell, 59, of Lancaster, widow of James Mitchell Sowell, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was born November 25, 1958 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Daniel Miles Hunter and Daisy Bernice Horton Hunter. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sowell will be held Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 1:30 pm at 3789 J.B. Denton Road with the Rev. Rachel Foster officiating. Mrs. Sowell is survived by two daughters, Brittany Jordan and her fiancé Jonathon Boone and Breanna Jordan all of Lancaster; a brother, Danny Wayne Hunter and his wife Melinda of Heath Springs; and three sisters, Gail White and her husband Jimmy, Donna Williams and Janet Johnson and her husband Phillip all of Lancaster.
