Rosa Lee Poston Catoe

Mrs. Rosa Lee Poston Catoe, 76, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her home. She was born March 3, 1943 in Chesterfield, a daughter of the late Charlie Poston and Florence Howell Poston. Rosa was a well-known seamstress and baker for over 40 years. She was employed with Williams Drug Center for many years before becoming a CNA where she retired in 2010 to lovingly take care of her husband, Jesse F. Catoe.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Catoe will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Douglas Presbyterian Church with Wayne Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Catoe is survived by her three children, Tina R. Brown and husband, Roger Brown of North Augusta, Jesse Franklin Catoe, II and his fiancé Hope Mosley of Lancaster and Chris L. Catoe and his girlfriend Becky Lane of Lancaster; her sister in laws, Sallie Poston, Lyda B. Davis, Freida Catoe, and Sharon E. Horton and her husband Buddy, and a brother in law, Samuel O. Catoe and his wife Marie; eight grandchildren, Jessica, David, Courtney, Alyssa, Kierstyn, Remington, Harley, and Kenlee; three great grandchildren, Janna, Kimber, and Mickey. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Catoe was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse Franklin Catoe; six siblings, Ivey Nell Lehota, Edward Poston, John A. Poston, J. W.
