Ronald Scott "Ronnie" Knight

Mr. Ronald Scott “Ronnie” Knight, 61, of Lancaster, husband of Linda Parris Knight passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at his home. He was born July 13, 1956 in Lancaster, a son of the late John Morrison Knight and Peggy Marquis Knight. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He retired from Duracell after 39 years of service. He loved to camp, play bass guitar, and paint cars. He was an avid Gamecock and Redskin fan. He loved his two fur babies, Rufus and Daisy and most of all, he loved spending time with his two grandsons.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Linda Parris Knight; a son, Joshua Scott Knight and his wife Brandi of Fort Mill; a daughter, Misty Knight Sutherland and her husband Lucas of Gastonia; a brother, Randy Knight of Lancaster; two sisters, Susan Smith of Cayman Brac, and Melanie Funderburk and her husband Dale of Charlotte; and two grandchildren, Jacob Scott Knight and Alexander James Knight both of Fort Mill.Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 1026 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Knight.Read Obituary
