Mr. Roland Lee Outlaw, Jr., 77, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1941 in Bishopville, SC, a son of the late Roland Lee Outlaw, Sr. and Alberta Nell Blackmon Outlaw. Mr. Outlaw was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. He was a Shriner and a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple. He was a former member of the Lancaster Jaycees. Mr. Outlaw was a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran. He retired from Founders Federal Credit Union as a branch manager. Roland enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, NASCAR, golf, riding his lawnmower, and whistling.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Outlaw will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 at 4 p.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patrick Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Luke United Methodist Church Cemetery.Mr. Outlaw is survived by his wife, Wendy Lee Bowers Outlaw of Lancaster; a daughter, Lee Harris and her husband Kyle of Lancaster; a son, Michael Labon Outlaw and his wife Allison of North Augusta, SC; two brothers, John “Jay” Outlaw and his wife Nancy of Altamonte Springs, FL and Douglas Edwin Outlaw of Taylors, SC; and five grandchildren, Kylee Harris, Kennedy Grace Harris, Marc Outlaw, Eric Outlaw and Bryan Outlaw.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorial gifts to the Lindsay Pettus Greenway, P.O.
