Robert Theo "Robbie" Helms Jr.

Mr. Robert Theo “Robbie” Helms, Jr., 47, of Heath Springs passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home. He was born August 31, 1970 in Lancaster, a son of the late Robert Theo Helms, Sr. and Jackie Ogburn Helms. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed racing and always pulled for Darrell Waltrip. He was a USC Gamecock fan and enjoyed playing golf. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Helms will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm at New Life Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Pate and Rev. Shawn Macy officiating. Burial will be in the West Side Cemetery. Mr. Helms is survived by two daughters, Ashley Taylor and her husband Justin of Lancaster and Marissa Hodges and her husband Brent of Rock Hill; two sisters, Lori Helms Jordan and her husband Mike and Kelly Elizabeth Helms all of Heath Springs; and two grandchildren, Jayden Belcher and Jayleigh Taylor. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other time at the home of Ashley and Justin Taylor.
