Robert Miles McCorkle

Mr. Robert Miles McCorkle, 47, of Lancaster passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at his home. He was born June 11, 1971 in Lancaster, a son of James Patrick “Pat” McCorkle, Sr. and Linda Bradley Etters. Mr. McCorkle was a member of Second Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends. Mr. McCorkle enjoyed wrestling, Nascar and football. In his high school years, he was on the football and wrestling teams. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. McCorkle will be held Friday, May 10, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Les Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mr. McCorkle is survived by two sons, Logan Miles McCorkle and Josh McCorkle both of Lancaster; a daughter, Kayla McCorkle Deas and her husband Joey of Lancaster; a step-daughter, Ashley Steen of Lancaster; his father, James Patrick “Pat” McCorkle, Sr. and his wife Judy of Sanford, FL; his mother, Linda Etters of Lancaster; two brothers, James Patrick “Pete” McCorkle, Jr. of York and Chuck Etters and his wife Carla of Lancaster; three sisters, Linda McCorkle Lowery and her husband Roger of Lancaster, Libby McCorkle Lucas and her fiancé Chris of York and Alisa Etters and her husband John of Monroe, NC; three grandchildren, Braylee, Jayda and Xander. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Lib McCorkle; his maternal grandparents, Ada and Edward Bradley; and his step-father, Emmett Etters. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Linda and Roger Lowery.
