Robert Dale Emigh

Mr. Robert Dale Emigh, 71, of The Villages, FL and Indian Land, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Atrium Healthcare-Pineville. He was born August 16, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late James Richard Emigh and Betty Jane Spudich Emigh. Mr. Emigh is of the Presbyterian faith. He loved to golf, loved listening to music, was an avid walker and was a Pittsburgh sports fan. Mr. Emigh was a very gentle person who loved life and his family, especially his granddaughters who were the apple of his eye. He was a graduate of Penn Hills High School in 1968 and was a graduate of Clarion University in 1974. Mr. Emigh is survived by his wife of 49 years, Emily “Kathy” Emigh of The Villages, FL and Indian Land, SC; a son, Brian Robert Emigh and wife Patricia of Charlotte, NC; three brothers, James Emigh and wife Barbara of Olmstead Falls, OH, Richard Emigh and wife Michelle of Bullhead City, AZ and Jeffrey Emigh of Pittsburgh, PA, and two granddaughters, Sara and Catherine Emigh. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Emigh will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 238 Fort Mill Hwy., Indian Land, SC. An additional Celebration of Life will be held in Pittsburgh, PA at the Holiday Park United Methodist Church, 81 Sandune Drive on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Be Not Afraid, 134 Yellow Birch Loop, Mooresville, NC 28117.
