Robert Dennis Broome

Mr. Robert Dennis Broome, 82, of Lancaster, widower of Doris Faye Mills Broome, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation. He was born April 30, 1939 in Marshville, NC, a son of the late Robert Henry Broome and Faye Strong Broome. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Broome will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Mills officiating. Burial will be private. Mr. Broome is survived by two sons, Dennis Broome and his wife Songa of Fort Lawn and Michael Eason of Lancaster; a daughter, Linda Miller and her husband Robert of Lancaster; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Eason of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren, Kayla, Dale, Jennifer, Matt, Kevin, Ashley, Mike Jr., Angela, Daniel, Ranee and Taurus; 30 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Eason, Sr.; and a grandson, Dennis Henry Broome, Jr. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
