Robert Edward "Bobby" Avant

Mr. Robert Edward “Bobby” Avant, 40, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his home. He was born October 27, 1981 in Lancaster, a son of Jerry Lynn Avant, Sr. and Catherine Johnson Avant. Mr. Avant enjoyed woodworking, millwork and CNC. He enjoyed spending time with his children and fishing. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Avant will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Canaan Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Gulledge and Rev. T.J. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mr. Avant is survived by a daughter, Madison Avant of Lancaster; a son, Logan Avant of Lancaster; his parents, Jerry Lynn Avant, Sr. and Catherine Johnson Avant of Lancaster; a brother, Jerry Avant, Jr. and his wife Jessica of Lancaster; a sister, Amber Avant of Lancaster; and a niece and nephew, Mullaney and Kolby Avant. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 at Canaan Freewill Baptist Church.
