Rena Carlina Hancock Boykin

Mrs. Rena Carlina Hancock Boykin, 63, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1956 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Charles Wesley Hancock and Marcine Moser Strickland. Mrs. Boykin retired from the Lancaster County Health Department.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Boykin will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Jim and Sheila Outen officiating.Mrs. Boykin is survived by her husband, Micky Boykin of Lancaster; a son, Charles Kirkley and his wife Kim of Kershaw; her step-father, Jesse Strickland, Sr. of Lancaster; a brother, Charles “Sonny” Hancock of Chester; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
