Rebecca Louise Moore Starnes

Louise M Starnes, 89 passed away on Tuesday August 4, 2020 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill South Carolina. She was born May 2, 1931 in Monroe NC. She was the daughter of Thomas Palmer and Belle Eudy Moore. Louise graduated from Indian Land School In 1947 and furthered her education in Business Administration. She was heavily involved in the Boys and Girls Club in Fort Mill SC. and was the Director of the Fort Mill Authority for many years before retiring and moving To Murrells Inlet SC. She was active member of Belin United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet SC and helped with the Meals On Wheels program there.Louise was preceded in death by her son Christopher Starnes of Murrells Inlet. Survivors include one son, Jody Starnes of Fort Mill SC, a sister Emma Jean Williams of Murrells Inlet, SC, a brother Wayne Moore (Laura) of Lancaster SC. She also has 2 grandsons and several nieces and nephews.A Memorial service will be held Saturday August 8th at 3:00 pm at the Chapel at Lancaster Funeral Home.
