Ramon Julian "Jay" Salazar Jr.

Mr. Ramon Julian “Jay” Salazar, 55, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his home. He was born July 16, 1965 in Bakersfield, CA, a son of Ramon Julian Salazar, Sr. and Maria Villarreal Contreras. Mr. Salazar was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He was devoted to his children. Mr. Salazar enjoyed fishing, riding his bike and taking trips. Most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughter.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Salazar will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 at 3 p.m. from the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Tim Larrimore officiating. Mr. Salazar is survived by a son, Christian J. Salazar and his wife Britteny of Rock Hill; two daughters, Chrissy Salazar of Heath Springs and Kayla Salazar Buono and her husband Alex of Orlando, FL; one grandchild, Aria Salazar; his father; Julian Salazar, Sr. of Bakersfield, CA; and his mother, Maria V. Contreras of Madera, CA. He was preceded in death by a son, Ramon Julian “Budda” Salazar, III; and a sister, Rita Ramos.
