Mrs. Pearlie Mae Ellis Morgan, 67, of Lancaster, widow of Roger Wayne Morgan, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at her home. She was born March 6, 1951 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Odell Ellis and Pearlie Gardner Ellis. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Morgan will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 3 pm at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Huffman officiating. Burial will be private.Mrs. Morgan is survived by two daughters, Rose Ann Hudson and her husband Bobby of Lancaster and Johnnie Mae Gardner of Kershaw; two sisters, Linda Knight of Pageland and Judy Owens of Kershaw; and four grandchildren, Matthew Hudson, Benjamin Hudson, Dylan Pate and Bryce Pate. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Reba Morgan Sims and Patricia Morgan Pate; a brother, Thomas Ellis; and three sisters, Jeanette Brasington, Mary Ann Morgan and Nancy Sims.The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Morgan.Read Obituary
