Ollie Faile Miller Newell

Mrs. Ollie Faile Miller Newell, 96, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at her home. She was born August 31, 1920 in Kershaw, a daughter of the late George Washington Faile and Dora Morgan Faile. Mrs. Newell was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mrs. Newell enjoyed reading, working in her yard with flowers and garden and loved spending time with her family and friends.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Newell will be held Friday, July 21, 2017 at 3 pm at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin, Rev. Chris Blackmon and Rev. Harold Miller, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Newell is survived by her husband, John B. Newell of Lancaster; a son, Harold Miller and his wife Mary of Lancaster; two daughters, Margie Kennington and her husband Donald and Judy Hunter Simpson all of Lancaster; a brother, Bud Faile of Kershaw; a sister, Mary Cauthen of Lancaster; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and 1great-great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and three sisters.The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church and other times at the home on 473 S.
