Minnie Belle Stevens Ballard

Mrs. Minnie Belle Stevens Ballard, 81, of Lancaster, widow of Curtis Lee Ballard, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at home of her granddaughter, Paulette Mackey and her husband Justin. She was born April 3, 1939 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Oscar Stevens and Pauline Ivey Stevens.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ballard will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Catlin Rollings and Rev. Dr. Jackie Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Ballard is survived by two sons, Mitchell Edward Ballard (Joyce) and Jason Edward Ballard both of Lancaster; a brother, Billy Ray Stevens and his wife Linda of Kershaw; a sister, Mary Ann Starnes and her husband Cecil of Lancaster; six grandchildren, Paulette, Stephanie B., Robert, Stephanie S., Shawn and Chucky; and ten great-grandchildren, Anna, Mitchell, Lesly, Nathan, Lucillo, Isabell, Jaxon, Rylee, Eli and Kurtlee.
