Mr. Michael A. Outen, 55, of Kershaw passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. He was born November 8, 1963 in Bethesda, Maryland, a son of the late W.L. Outen and Carrie Holmes Outen.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Outen will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the graveside at the House of Prayer Cemetery in the Mt. Pisgah Community of Bethune with the Rev. David Faile officiating.Mr. Outen is survived by his sons Kevin Outen and his finance Tammy of Kershaw, S.C., and Kyle Outen and his wife Emily, of Cassatt S.C., and two daughters Kayla Minors and her husband Chase of Kershaw, S.C., and Kari Outen of Jefferson, S.C., two brothers Ronnie Outen of Lancaster, S.C., and Donnie Outen and his wife Sharon of Kershaw, S.C., eleven grandchildren Kory, Austin, Isabell, Jenny, Keith, Alex, Manley, Cliffton, Kelan, Kingston and Keagan, and one great grandchild Hannah. Mr. Outen was a devoted family man and dearly loved his children and grandchildren. He was also a diehard Clemson fan who was delighted with Clemson’s Monday night win over Alabama.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Kayla and Chase Minors in Kershaw.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Outen.Read Obituary
