Mrs. Melbia Paulette Cudd Britt, 76, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation. She was born April 6, 1946 in Union, SC, a daughter of the late Paul Woodrow Cudd and Martha Melvina Allen Cudd. Mrs. Britt was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. Mrs. Britt enjoyed shagging at the beach and listening to gospel music. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Britt will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Ron Caskey officiating. Mrs. Britt is survived by a son, Randy Beaumont and his wife Debra of Great Falls; a daughter, Melissa Parker and her fiancé Steven of Fort Mill; a sister, Kathy Moore of Charlotte, NC and two grandchildren, Brooke Beaumont and Southerlyn Parker. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Cudd; and a sister, Diane Holland.
