Maw Maw Pat Steele

Patricia “Maw Maw Pat” Steele, 67, of Lancaster passed away Friday, January 11, 2019. She was born June 23, 1951 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Wylie Wilson and Doris Virginia Ellis Estes. A service to celebrate the life of Pat will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitch Ingram officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Pat is survived by two daughters, Karen Fitzgerald of Conway and Crystal Steele Thomas of Lancaster; six grandchildren, Amanda Evans, Eric Fitzgerald, Melissa Thomas, Melanie Gaddy, Timothy Steele, II, and Russell Lee Steele; Nine Great Grandchildren; a brother Wylie B. Estes and his wife Renee of Valdosta, Ga., one sister Cathy Davis and her husband Rick of Lancaster. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Timothy Wayne Steele, grandson, Monroe Steele, two brothers, Dale Estes and Steve Estes. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Cathy and Rick Davis.
