Mary Eloise Twitty

Miss Mary Eloise Twitty, 86, of Lancaster passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born May 31, 1931 in Kershaw, a daughter of the late Georgie Twitty and Eliza Langley Twitty. Miss Twitty was a lifelong member of Center Grove Baptist Church.A service to celebrate the life of Miss Twitty will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 at 2 pm at Center Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the Kershaw Cemetery.Miss Twitty is survived by a brother, James “JB” Twitty of Kershaw; a sister, Shirley Sims of Richburg; eight beloved nieces; and many beloved great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two beloved nieces and one nephew.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Center Grove Baptist Church and other times at the home on 7533 Kershaw Camden Hwy., Kershaw, SC.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Miss Twitty.Read Obituary
