Mrs. Mary “Libby” B. King, 60, of Lancaster, widow of William Roy King, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home. She was born September 7, 1958 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Johnny Lewis Blackwell, Sr. and Mary Threatt Blackwell. Mrs. King loved her family and enjoyed spending time with every member. She also enjoyed visiting campgrounds and her favorites were Lake Wateree and Ocean Lakes. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. King will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Snipes officiating. Mrs. King is survived by three daughters, Tanya Robinson and her husband Lance, Crystal Hollins and Angelia Hollins all of Lancaster; three brothers, Johnny Lewis Blackwell, Jr. and his wife Dawn, James Eugene Blackwell and his wife Angie and Darrell Blackwell and his wife Teresa all of Lancaster; three sisters, Wanda Kay Mahaffey of Lancaster, Dorothy Ann Greene and her husband Kenny and Silva Darlene Greene and her husband Roger all of Fort Lawn; and three grandchildren, Christian Hope Piner, Tianna Shanae Catoe and Gabriel Bryant Robinson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Ray Blackwell. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
