Mary Frances Outen Criminger

Ms. Mary Frances Outen Criminger, 81, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1940 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson “Bud” Outen and Rennie Jeannettie Watts Outen. Ms. Criminger was retired from Springs Industries.A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Criminger will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Catlin Rollings, Rev. Bill Knight and Pastor Cotton Pate officiating. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.Ms. Criminger is survived by a son, Jeff Criminger and his wife Kelly of Lancaster; a daughter, Pamela Mullis of Lancaster; two sisters, Martha Ellen Knight and her husband Rev. Bill and Joyce Watts and her husband Brian all of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Brittney Criminger, Brandy Criminger and Devin Mullis; and five great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Criminger, Makylie Criminger, Charlie Jones, Makenzley Belk and Cali Caskey. She was preceded in death by a grandson, David Jeremy Mullis; four brothers, Bill Outen, Bob Outen, Morrison Outen and Frank Outen; and two sisters, Janice Shehane and Brenda Sue Langley.The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2022 at Union Baptist Church and other times at the home of Jeff Criminger, 4692 Taxahaw Road, Lancaster.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Ms. Criminger.Read Obituary
