Mary Vivian Aldridge

Mrs. Mary Vivian Miller Aldridge, 81, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020. She was born January 24, 1939 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Wade and Leona Hunter Miller and was married to the late Dowd Parnell “Whitey” Aldridge for 58 years. Mrs. Aldridge was a Member of Antioch Baptist Church, loved her family and her church family. She was very active member. Mrs. Aldridge served as the Nursery Coordinator for five years. She loved to sing and was a member of the Goodwill Singers. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Aldridge will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin and Rev. James Dyar officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Aldridge is survived by one son; Billy Aldridge and his wife Diane of Kershaw; two daughters; Pam Aldridge Robinson and her husband Mike and Lisa Aldridge Tillman and her husband Al, all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Stacy Aldridge Waits and her husband Jonathan, Chris Aldridge and his wife Trina, Jeremy Helms, Kayla Helms and significant other Harvey Mills, Kristie Tillman and fiancé` Michael Tuscany, Garrett Tillman and his wife Allison Knight Tillman, and Grant Tillman; great grandchildren; Lauren Waits, Ethan Waits, Benjamin Waits, Kensley Loftin, Lakyn Aldridge, Marti-Jae Aldridge, George Aldridge, and Olivia Kate Tillman; five sisters; Lucille M.. Loatwell, Ardis M. Hunter, Ann M. Hough, Peggy M. Mackey and her husband Reed and Laverne M. Simpson all of Lancaster. In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Aldridge was preceded in death by her brothers; Floyd (Buddy) Miller, Wade G. Miller and Douglas Miller, and one sister Doris M.
