Marion Nelson Hayes, 83, widower of Barbara Hayes, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Born June 20, 1938 in Bishopville, a son of the late James Clifton Hayes and Sarah Jones Hayes. He operated Hayes Heating and Air for many years. In his early years, he enjoyed dirt track racing as an owner and driver. Survivors include brother, Roger Hayes (Anne); sister, Joyce Kennington; and his girlfriend, Phyllis Johnson. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Nelson Hayes; and two brothers, Kenny Hayes and Wayne Hayes. Services will be announced later. Arrangements by Lancaster Funeral Home.
