Margaret Louise Deason Boone

Mr. Margaret Boone, 86, of Lancaster, widow of James C. Boone, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at MUSC-Lancaster. She was born October 12, 1933 in Chesterfield, a daughter of the late Luther Thomas Deason and Lillian Raffaldt Deason. Mrs. Boone was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and enjoyed attending all church functions. She enjoyed her time outside and her favorite pastime was working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Mrs. Boone was an excellent cook and loved making dishes for her family and friends. She loved animals, especially her cats.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Boone will be held Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the graveside at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Patrick Blackmon officiating.Mrs. Boone is survived by two daughters, Elaine Boone of Lancaster and Melinda Boone of Columbia; two sisters, Mary Alice Reynolds and Ola Mae Outen both of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Chelsea Boone and Danielle Boone; and six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Summer, Sydney, Matthew, Caleb and Aubreigh. She was preceded in death by two sons, James Rodney Boone and Melvin Victor Boone; two daughters, Margaret Boone and Greta Renee Boone; a great-grandson, Dillon Stacks; two brothers, Ira Deason and JT Deason; and three sisters, Pauline Adams, Grace Gainey and Annie Deason.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Boone.Read Obituary
