Mrs. Lucille Ann Watts Hance, 82, of Lancaster, widow of Michael Derryck Hance, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at her home. She was born February 1, 1940 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Jessie Carl Watts and Ruby Haston Watts. Mrs. Hance was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her love for her family was reflected in the life she lived. Mrs. Hance was a beautiful person inside and out. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hance will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Walters and Mr. Corey Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mrs. Hance is survived by a son, Joey Miles of Santee; two daughters, Cynthia Wallace and her husband David and Joy Lingle all of Lancaster; three brothers, Clinton Watts, Donnie Watts and William Watts and his wife Claudine all of Lancaster; four sisters, Betty Hudgins of Marshville, WI, Doris Alston and her husband Darrell of Gatlinburg, TN, Janet Price of Lancaster and Millie Tinker and her husband Johnny of Lugoff; six grandchildren, David Gordon, Aryn Gordon, Sharyn Gamble, Corey Boyd, Kevin Boyd and Keith Boyd; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Cary Delmarcus Wallace and Michael Harlan Wallace; a daughter, Darwin Lucille Gordon; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Keith Boyd, 1419 Lee Park Lane, Lancaster.
