Loyd Small

Mr. Loyd Small, 81, of Lancaster passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at his home. He was born March 8, 1940 in Kershaw, a son of the late Charlie Small and Nellie Hinson Small. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Small will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Catlin Rollings officiating. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Small is survived by his wife, Vickie B. Small of Lancaster; two sons, Donald Ray Small and his wife Teresa and Loyd Allen Small and his wife Susan all of Lancaster; three daughters, Darlene Small of Lancaster, Wanda Stevenson and her husband Will of Greenville, AL and Samantha Small Garmon and her husband Greg of Lancaster; three sisters, Gladys Pierce, Alma Hurst and her husband Harold all of Catawba and Vone Blackmon of Pageland; 12 grandchildren, Jade, Tasha, Donavon, Katrina, Julian, Georgie, Gracie, Emery, Karleigh, Miranda, Kevin, Colton; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by a son, Floyd Shannon Small; a great-grandchild, Levi Small; five brothers, Ira Small, Ancel Small, David Small, Charles Small and Tommy Small; and two sisters, Annie Jane Woodle and Eula Mae Paul. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Union Baptist Church and other times at the home of Loyd and Vickie.
