Louria Jean Gardner Faulkenberry

Mrs. Louria Jean Gardner Faulkenberry, 87, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at MUSC Health-Lancaster. She was born July 7, 1931 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Rev. Ernest Ray Gardner and Beulah Mae Rollings Gardner. Mrs. Faulkenberry was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mrs. Faulkenberry loved playing the piano and organ. She also loved singing, working puzzles, sewing, cooking and being with family and friends. Mrs. Faulkenberry loved life and lived it to the fullest.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Faulkenberry will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. Todd Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Faulkenberry is survived by her husband Ray Franklin “Frank” Faulkenberry of Lancaster; a son, Eric Ray Faulkenberry and his wife Angela of Lancaster; a daughter, Cecilia Jeffrey and her husband Robert of Lancaster; a brother, Bobby Joe Gardner and his wife Linda of Kershaw; a sister-in-law, Jennie Gardner of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
