Louise Duncan Bowers

Mrs. Louise Duncan Bowers, 89, of Heath Springs, wife of Anderson Bowers, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at her home. She was born November 1, 1929 in Heath Springs, a daughter of the late Edward Duncan and Maggie Deese Duncan. Mrs. Bowers was a devoted member of New Hope Baptist Church and retired from Springs Industries after forty years of service. She loved her family, working with her flowers and gardening. Mrs. Bowers also enjoyed traveling and shopping.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Bowers will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Pace and Rev. Todd Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Bowers is survived by her husband Anderson Iradell Bowers of 67 years; and a sister, Mildred Jordan.
