Lenwood Marzelle "Pete" Reeves

Mr. Lenwood “Pete” Marzelle Reeves, 86, of Lancaster, widower of Ruth Parks Reeves, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021. He was born November 25, 1934 in Lancaster, a son of the late Heyward S. Reeves and Annie Catoe Reeves. Mr. Reeves was a member of Unity A.R.P. Church. He was a Mason and a member of the Camp Creek Lodge and also a member of the Jackson Shrine Club. For many years Mr. Reeves was in charge of the catfish stew for the Shriner’s Club fund raisers. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Reeves will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Unity A.R.P. Church with the Rev. Charles Hammond officiating. Mr. Reeves is survived by his son Lenwood “Len” Reeves of Bluffton; his daughter Laura R. Lewis and her husband Keith of Lancaster; two grandsons, Michael Lewis and Ricky Lewis and his wife Cameron. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Theron Reeves, CB Reeves, Hazel Reeves and Melvin Reeves. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship building.
