Laura Michelle Stevens Jones

Ms. Laura Michelle Stevens Jones, 43, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at MUSC-Lancaster. She was born May 8, 1978 in Chester, a daughter of Linda Kay Broughton Stevens and the late Jerry Edward Stevens. Ms. Jones enjoyed being a Mimi. She was a loving mother, daughter and great sis to Mark. Ms. Jones was very crafty and enjoyed making things. She loved going to her daughter’s ballgames and taking day trips. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Jones will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Sherwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Rusty McAlister and Rev. Steve Anglin officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Ms. Jones is survived by two daughters, Valerie Jones Broadway and Isabella Jones both of Lancaster; her mother, Linda Kay Broughton Stevens of Lancaster; a brother, Mark Stevens and his wife April of Kershaw; two grandchildren, Walker and Ava Kay Broadway; her grandmother, Joyce Stevens of Lancaster; two nieces, Laney and Lexi Stevens; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Sherwood Baptist Church Family Life Center. Memorial contributions may be made to her daughters, Valerie Broadway and Isabella Jones, 539 Oakhaven Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720 for medical expenses.
