Kinsey Elisabeth Morgan, 20, of Rock Hill passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte. Kinsey’s inspirational life started as a surprise on a hot, Arizona day. She was born on July 27, 1998 at Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale, AZ and was quickly air lifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She was born with DiGeorge Syndrome and a congenital heart defect, Truncous Arteriosus. Throughout her life, Kinsey had multiple surgeries including six open heart, along with many other challenges that she faced and overcame every day.Educationally, Kinsey applied herself with grit and determination that culminated in her receiving her High School Diploma from Rock Hill High School and a full scholarship to York Technical College where she was in her sophomore year, majoring in Digital Art Design. She was an active member of her church, Christ Fellowship, and enjoyed working in the media ministry. She served on the Teen Advisory Council at Levine Children’s Hospital for six years and loved serving LCH and her community. When it came time to fight health challenges, Kinsey showed up every day ready for battle with a smile on her face and the comfort of the Holy Spirit. She was the true definition of a heart warrior, always confident that victory was forthcoming.Kinsey’s greatest asset was her incredible faith and belief in Almighty God, His Anointed Son Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Kinsey’s mission in life was to glorify God and lead people to her Savior. She lived every day with great faith and hope. The one characteristic most people remember and are challenged by was Kinsey’s genuine sweetness that came through in everything she did. Her words were always kind and thoughtful. She expected the best of everyone. Her suffering was a beautiful offering of her devotion to the Savior she trusted. She suffered beautifully and that suffering pierced any heart that may have been hardened. Kinsey’s goodness could not be hidden. Through wounds and scars, her beauty was magnified and Jesus’ light shone for her in the midst of unbearable struggle. She was convinced that nothing could separate her from the love of God.On December 10, 2018 at 11:55 pm, that loving God came in the softest and sweetest way and took Kinsey home. In the final battle for her life, after nearly fourteen weeks, she was free from struggle, suffering and pain. She was where we all long to be; in the presence of the one, true, living God. We will see you soon, sweet Kinsey. Our lives will never be the same because of you.A service to celebrate Kinsey's life will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Inspiration Ministries with the Rev.
