Mrs. Joann Walden Fisher, 84, of Lancaster, widow of Lowell Fisher, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at MUSC Health–Lancaster Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1937 in Monroe, a daughter of the late Johnny Walden and Dorothy Griffin Walden. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Fisher will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Grace Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Anders officiating. Entombment will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Fisher is survived by three sons, Dennis Price and his wife Sandy of Rockingham, NC, Randy Price and his wife Terri of Toledo, Ohio, and Kevin Price and his wife Ge of Monroe; three daughters, Pamela Hypes of Monroe, Teresa Kyzer and her husband Billy of Youngstown, Ohio, and Susie Neely and her husband Jimmy of Great Falls; two brothers, Jerry Walden and Mike Walden both of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer Cunningham, Jessica Price, Terry Ann Brown, Michelle Byrd, Elizabeth Lewis, David Price, Kevin Price, Jr., Michael Price, Samantha Price, Amanda Price, Jacob Fisher, Tony Kyzer, Raymond Tattonetti and Jeremy Tattonetti; and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny “Buddy” Walden and Jim Walden; and a sister, Patsy Funderburk. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 at Grace Free Will Baptist Church and other times at her home. Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Fisher.
